Beavers Do Things and Go Places

The Beaver program is all about giving kids a safe place to learn cool stuff and meet new people. Beavers is designed to help children learn basic social skills and gain self confidence by a lively variety of games, crafts, music, storytelling, playacting and the outdoors. Beaver activities stress cooperation and teamwork, and can involve the whole family.

The outdoors is an essential part of the Beaver program. Weekend events, picnics, short nature hikes and family based camping opportunities round out the Beaver experience.

Beavers meet in a group called a colony. There is one leader for every five Beavers.

Beavers Have a Purpose
There is a reason for everything kids do in Beavers. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Beavers is to help kids grow into good citizens who are healthy and strong.
