Registration for White Tail Camp
from Lynne Thomas, Assistant Deputy Area Commissioner (ADAC) Colony
lmot@accesswave.ca, 461-4674

Registration for White Tail Camp is now open and the deadline for registration is February 25th.  I've attached a PDF file
("White Tail Camp 2010.pdf" with camp info.

I do need some help with running the stations.  If you are interested in helping out on Saturday March 27th please let me know!

Beaver Buggies Saturday, February 20, 2010

I am attaching the Beaver Buggies information ("Beaver Buggies.pdf").  It's in a PDF file so if you can't open it please let me know.

Please note that the Scouts will be out at Camp Harris that weekend for their Klondike Days camp.  We will have limited parking so I'm recommending that you car pool.  Please make sure your parents are aware of this.  The road will be blocked off.  Parking is limited to the Sagar Commons.  If you have any concerns about this please let me know.

Also, could you please let me know by February 12 how many Beavers will be attending the event so I can make sure I have enough cake and snack for everyone.

Yours in Scouting,
 Lynne Thomas

Leaders and volunteers attending Scouting events are reminded that photography release permission is now included on the Youth and Adult Volunteer registration forms.
Parents and volunteers must check the box if they do not wish any photos taken of them or their children to be used in Scouts Canada's publications
.

The “Photography Release Form” (for youth and adults) is to be used for special events which involve collaboration between Scouts Canada and an outside agency
. It gives permission for Scouts Canada to share images with other organizations for use in their publications and web sites.

This must be used for any such event regardless of whether a parent has checked off the "photo release" box in the registration form
. In the case of photographs of events which are used for Facebook or YouTube purposes, however, Leaders, youth and parents are urged to use discretion and to seek the permission of the individuals before posting their images to the web.
